FAQs:

  • What is included?

    • Teabag Flavors: Earl Grey, Jasmine, Peppermint, Chamomile, Blueberry Hibiscus, Masala Chai, English Breakfast, Peach Yuzo, Lavender Mint. One per person, additional teabags are $2 each. 

    • Sandwiches: Cucumber, Egg & Cress, Cheese & Tomato, Tuna & Cucumber (or substitute coronation chicken, shrimp, and/or salmon in for any of these selections, for an extra $2.50 per specialty sandwich per person)

    • Quiche: vegetarian, pescatarian, or meat lovers’ varieties

    • Scones: sweet scones, clotted cream & jam, savory scones, cheese & chutney. Please choose sweet or savory or mixed.

    • Desserts: we provide a Chef’s Selection of handmade sweets, treats, and mini treats (unless you have dietary restrictions, and we will alter our selection accordingly!)

    • Plus: milk, honey, sugar, napkins, plates, and utensils

    • Hot Water and Service Pieces: We do not provide service ware, China, tiers, or teapots. If you do not have hot water on site we can assist you in either urn rentals or boxed hot water.

  • How much notice does Emma’s need? At least 2 weeks’ notice, typically. More is better! Sometimes we do reach catering capacity on a particular day due to larger catering orders, but Emma and her team do have quite a bit of capacity. Reach out asap to inquire!

  • What is the minimum for catering? 10 people. Anything under 10 people is considered High Tea to Go.

  • What is the cost for catering? $40 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Final count must be confirmed no later than 2 weeks in advance.

    • If substituting a specialty sandwich (coronation chicken, shrimp, and/or salmon), cost is an extra $2.50 per head per type of specialty sandwich. For example - a selection of cucumber, egg & cress, salmon, and shrimp would be $40 per person. 

    • Deposit: A $50 deposit is due in order to book a date. Deposits may be made here on our website. The deposit is non-refundable. The balance is due 24 hours prior to the event and invoiced the day before. 

    • Delivery: We can deliver for $50 per 20-mile increments.

    • Set up: We can help you set up at $40 per hour.

  • Can you accommodate dietary restrictions? Please specify any dietary requirements below. We can accommodate some Gluten Free, Vegetarian and Vegan options. See more here about our dietary restrictions.

  • What’s my next step? Complete the deposit below, at which time a pop-up will ask you for all the information about your catering needs. Be sure to check out (see your cart in the top-right corner), as we won’t receive the information otherwise. Thank you!

Seance and Scones

Host an intimate mediumship reading over high tea for close family and friends! Includes:

  • An hour and a half private group reading for 5-10 people at your home

  • Emma’s Tea Spot’s High Tea To Go
