Tea Reservations

While Emma's is lovely for drop-ins to order off the menu à la carte, we do take reservations for High Tea, Queen BE Tea, or Special Tea. Ordering off the menu à la carte is first-come, first-served for seating.

We are a casual approach to the Tea Room. Please announce yourself upon arrival. First, order and pay at the counter, and we will bring everything to your table. If you want anything, just ask!

To make your reservation for one of the options below, you will make a $5 non-refundable deposit that will be applied to your check.

What’s included in the High Tea, Queen BE Tea, and Special Tea?

• High Tea includes your choice of tea, a chef's selection of traditional tea sandwiches, a scone with cream, jam, and all the trimmings, seasonal fruit, and a selection of biscuits and petit fours.

• Queen BE Tea comes with your choice of tea, your choice from the soups du jour, a chef's selection of traditional tea sandwiches, a scone with cream, jam, and all the trimmings, seasonal fruit, and a selection of biscuits and petit fours.

• Special Tea includes everything in the Queen BE Tea, plus tablecloths and favors (favors are honey, shortbread cookies and a teabag in a handmade paper teapot).

Dietary restrictions:

• Gluten-free: we do have gluten-free bread and gluten-free desserts, though unfortunately not gluten-free scones. We are a sandwich shop, though, so we cannot guarantee there won’t be cross-contamination — we do make all of our food in the same area.

• Vegan: We do have vegan options! Please visit our menu to see which selections are vegan.

• Vegetarian: We also have many vegetarian options! Please visit our menu to see which selections are vegetarian.

• When making your reservation for one of the Teas below, please note in the comments section any dietary restrictions. If visiting to order à la carte (i.e. visiting without a reservation), please inform our staff of any dietary restrictions upon your arrival.

FAQs about reservations:

• Reserving for more than 6 people for a High Tea, Queen BE Tea, or Special Tea? Feel free to make multiple reservations at the same time. We are a small shop, and we cannot guarantee larger parties all sitting together, but we’ll do our very best.

  • For parties of 8 or more people, please pick 4 teas and 4 sandwiches in advance from our menu - and preferably add them when making your reservation. You may also email Emma your selections at least 48 hours in advance.

• Making a reservation, but the guests will pay via different methods? No problem! Make the reservation below for the amount of people dining with you. When you arrive, you’ll be able to pay with various combinations of payments.

• Have a Groupon? When you make a reservation below, include the Groupon number in your reservation details. Upon your arrival at Emma’s Tea Spot, show your Groupon on your phone to the staff and you’ll be guided to redeem it in the mobile app. Only one Groupon per party may be used per visit.

• Need to edit or cancel your reservation? In your confirmation email, there will be a button to cancel/change your reservation. You may use that to add or subtract guests from your reservation, if there is still space available that day/time.

• The opportunity to make a reservation closes 24 hours in advance.

• Reservations require a $5 non-refundable deposit. Thank you!
