Hallowtween

Bring your kids of all ages to Emma’s Tea Spot, Batch Bakery, Dance Expressions Studio, The Strand Theatre and Latin’s Jewelers on this First Friday for treats and free refreshments and a window painting contest! Create a spooky display and enter to win a local business goody bag.

Children’s Book Signing & Reading

Artist and author Beverly Deluca will be adding her touch to the windows, having a book reading and signing of her book Teddy Goes To School, and spending the evening.

Bev DeLuca, a practicing Christian artist and author, is the proud mother of two grown sons with her dearly departed husband, Tony of 39 happy years. They were blessed with two grandchildren, Sammy who is now 8 and Kaitlyn who is now 5, who regularly inspire her to create stories that tickle the imagination. She was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, and she and her husband shared a small antique business in Gettysburg Pennsylvania. In her spare time she enjoys painting landscapes of places they’ve visited. She’s an inspiration to others because her severe dyslexia never kept her from accomplishing whatever she set out to do.

Block Party

Then stop over to the BB&T parking lot for a community block party! From 6-8pm there will be music and pizza from Silver Queen.
